Premiere Pro Tips & Tricks

Swap Clips

Moving a clip to another part of your timeline without creating a gap, hold Mac (Cmd+Opt) or Windows Mac (Ctrl+Alt) and drag the clip to where you want it.

Paste Attributes

Select the clip, hit Copy, and to past the attributes, use Mac (Shift+Cmd+V) or Windows (Shift+Ctrl+V)

Disable Tracks

Use (Shift+E) to disable a track instead of deleting it.

Moving a clip

Highlight a clip and hold Mac (Opt) or Windows (Alt), then drag the clip. This will copy the clip to a new location.
